Skies were partly to mostly sunny across eastern Kansas Saturday
afternoon. Late afternoon temperatures varied from the upper 70s
in the far northern counties, to the middle 80s near the Oklahoma
border in south-central Kansas.
[.]
A frontal boundary will remain nearly stationary from western
Oklahoma across southeast Kansas to northwest Missouri through
Sunday. A weakening upper level disturbance will move northward
from west Texas over the Central Plains later tonight into Sunday,
bringing increased moisture and chances for showers and a few
thunderstorms. The higher rain chances will be from western
Nebraska across western and southern Kansas, into much of
Oklahoma.
[.]
Low temperatures tonight will be in the 40s and 50s over the High
Plains, and in the lower to middle 60s elsewhere. Most of the
Heartland will have highs Sunday in the 70s to lower 80s, with
much of the High Plains having highs in the 60s.
